Out of Oblivion

Out of Oblivion by Lighthouse Pilot is a song cycle that explores a path people use to break free from their own chains. In twelve songs, the lyrics express what it feels like to go through each of the twelve steps of recovery.
The music is indie acoustic rock with lyrical melodies, close harmonies, jangly guitars, Mellotron, big drums, world beats and percussion.
Each song interweaves a different world beat groove into its rock backbeat to embody intercultural solidarity. The solos are vocal instead of instrumental and sung by amazing women from the Middle East.

Whispers In My Mind

Whispers In My Mind by Lighthouse Pilot is a song cycle that tells a coming-of-age story marked by trouble, decline, and turnaround. The lyrics observe life’s winding path through the lens of identity, inner conflict, and relationship.
The music is a mix of singer-songwriter tunes alongside alt-folk-rock tracks with a 4-piece band, all of which involve lyrical melodies, acoustic guitars, harmonies, and percussion.
The line-up includes Gary Burke (Graham Parker) on drums, Mindy Jostyn (John Mellencamp) on harmonica, Steve Gorn (Paul Simon) on bansuri, along with other talented musicians from the Hudson Valley.
